Pieowl is product analytics you can just ask. It puts web analytics and product analytics in one place, so you can see who visits, what they do, and where they leave. When a chart is not enough, you ask your own AI assistant, like Claude or Cursor, and it answers from your Pieowl data.
Pieowl is an alternative to tools like Mixpanel and Google Analytics. It sets no cookies, and your data is stored in the EU.
What you can do with Pieowl
Pieowl covers the reports most teams use every week:
- Web analytics: visitors, sessions, pageviews, bounce rate, visit length, sources, pages, countries and devices.
- Event tracking: track any action with your own properties.
- User profiles: tie events to a logged-in user and see their full history.
- Funnels: see how many people get through each step and where they drop off.
- Retention and cohorts: see who comes back, week after week.
- Session replay: watch real sessions. It is off until you turn it on for a site. Text and form fields are always hidden, and you can block parts of the page.
- Revenue attribution: send a purchase amount and see revenue by source, campaign, landing page and country.
- Dashboards and reports: build your own and share them by link, with an optional password.
- Realtime view: watch visitors arrive as it happens.
- Notifications: get alerts in Slack or Discord.
Ask your AI assistant
Pieowl has a hosted MCP server, so you can connect the AI assistant you already use: Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code or Raycast. Nothing to install. Create a token in Settings → Developers → AI assistants, then ask things like "Where do people drop off between the pricing page and signup?" It can answer questions about events, sessions, profiles, funnels, retention, pages, referrers and reports.
Built for privacy
Pieowl is built for GDPR: no cookies, no stored IPs.
- The tracker never sets a cookie and stores nothing on your visitors' devices, so in many cases you don't need a consent banner for analytics. See when you still need one.
- To count unique visitors, Pieowl makes a one-way hash from the browser, the IP address, the site and a secret salt. The salt changes every day, so an anonymous visitor can't be followed from one day to the next.
- The IP address is used for the country lookup and the hash, then dropped. It is never saved with your events.
EU cloud
You use Pieowl in our cloud, with your data stored in the EU.
Simple pricing
You pay for events: pageviews, custom events and revenue events all count. AI-bot requests don't. Every plan has every feature.
- 14-day free trial: no card needed.
- Starter: from $9 a month for 10K events, $19 for 100K, $69 for 1M, up to $169 for 10M. 1 site, 1 team member, 3 years of data.
- Growth: twice the Starter price, from $19 a month. Up to 30 sites, 30 team members, 5 years of data.
- More than 10M events: talk to us.
If you go over your plan's limit, tracking keeps running and nothing is lost. The dashboard locks until you upgrade or your next billing period starts, and there are no automatic overage charges. Pay yearly and you get 2 months free. Every paid plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. See the pricing page for details.
Your data stays yours
You can export raw events and chart data through the API, or send events to S3 or Google Cloud Storage. Coming from another tool? Pieowl can import your history from Mixpanel, Amplitude and Umami.
