The basics
What is share and collaborate?
- 01Invite members
- 02Set their access
- 03Share a view
- 04Choose public or password
Share and collaborate is how you get the right numbers to the right people without opening up everything.
Invite your team. Add people by email and manage them in one place: Settings → Members.
Choose their access. Each person gets a role and site access:
- Admin: manages the team, its members and every site
- Member: sees only the sites you give them, with read or write access to each
Share what matters. You don't have to share all or nothing:
- Your overview: the main web analytics view for a site
- A dashboard: the same layout and reports you use
- A single report: one funnel, one retention chart or one breakdown
Pick how it's shared. Every share link can be:
- Public: anyone with the link can view it, which is handy for client updates or a public metrics page
- Password-protected: only people with the password can open it
People you invite can also turn on two-factor login for their account. Every feature is on every plan; you only pay for events.
Share & Collaborate on every plan
What you can do with share and collaborate
From your first teammate to a report for a client, it's all built in.

Invite teammates, contractors or clients by email. See everyone, and every open invitation, in Settings → Members.
Team-wide or per-site access

Read or write per site
For each site, choose whether a member can only view it or can also create and edit reports and dashboards.
Share dashboards and reports
Share your overview, a full dashboard or a single report, so you send exactly the view that matters.
Public or password-protected links
Make a share link public, or add a password for sensitive or internal-only numbers.
Change access any time
Update a member's sites or role, or remove them from the team whenever you need to.

How sharing and collaboration works
Invite people, set their access, then share views as needed.
- 1
Invite members
Add people by email in Settings → Members. They get an invite and sign in with the access you chose.
- 2
Set their access
Make them an admin of the team, or a member with read or write access to specific sites. You can change this any time.
- 3
Share a view
From the overview, a dashboard or a report, create a share link for exactly that view.
- 4
Choose public or password
Leave the link public, or set a password so only people who have it can open the shared view.
Use cases
How teams use share and collaborate
From internal alignment to client reports, sharing and access control fit many workflows.
Internal team alignment
Give product, growth and support access to the sites they need. Share one main dashboard so everyone looks at the same numbers.
Stakeholder updates
Share a single report or dashboard with investors or leadership. They see the view that matters, nothing else.
Client reports for agencies
Give each client its own site. Share their overview or dashboard by link, with a password when the data is sensitive.
Public metrics pages
Share a dashboard publicly and link to it from your site or docs, so anyone can see live numbers without signing in.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about sharing and collaboration in Pieowl.
Do team members cost extra?
Every feature is on every plan. Starter includes 1 team member; Growth includes up to 30 team members and 30 sites. Share links work on both, for people outside your team.
What's the difference between admins and members?
Admins manage the team, its members and all sites. Members only see the sites you give them, with read or write access to each one. That works well for clients, partners or teams that need only part of your data.
Can I share just one report instead of a whole dashboard?
Yes. You can share your overview, a full dashboard or a single report. The link shows only what you chose to share.
Can share links be password-protected?
Yes. When you create a share link, you can leave it public or set a password so only people who have it can open the view.
Can I change someone's access after they've joined?
Yes. Add or remove sites, change read or write access, or remove the person from the team at any time in Settings → Members.
