This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Yevhen Shcherbynskyi, trading as Aioomi ("we") uses on the pieowl.com website, in the Pieowl dashboard at app.pieowl.com, and in the Pieowl tracker that our customers add to their websites. It also explains the choices you have.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide useful information to website owners.
How we use cookies
The Pieowl tracker
The Pieowl tracker sets no cookies. To count visitors, Pieowl uses a daily-salted hash instead of a cookie. Our Privacy Policy explains how it works.
The tracker stores nothing on the visitor's device: no cookies, no local storage and no session storage.
Our website (pieowl.com)
Our website sets no cookies. We measure visits with Pieowl itself, so there are no analytics cookies.
The website saves your theme (light or dark) and whether you paused animations in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
The Pieowl dashboard (app.pieowl.com)
The dashboard uses two kinds of cookies:
- Essential cookies: a session cookie that keeps you logged in. The dashboard does not work without it. It is deleted when you log out or your session expires.
- Preference cookies: small cookies that remember your settings, such as your theme, chart type, date range, how you last signed in, and which in-app messages you have closed.
We do not use advertising cookies in the dashboard.
Your choices
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. If you block the dashboard's session cookie, you will not be able to log in.
