# Use Pieowl on your phone

The Pieowl dashboard works in your phone's browser. Add it to the home screen once, and it gets its own icon and opens full screen, without the browser's address bar. There is nothing to download from an app store.

iPhone and iPad (Safari) [#iphone-and-ipad-safari]

1. Open **Safari** and go to [app.pieowl.com](https://app.pieowl.com). Sign in.
2. Tap **…** at the bottom of the screen, then tap **Share**. If your tabs are at the top or bottom of the screen, the **Share** button may be shown directly.
3. Scroll down the list of options (tap **View More** if you see it) and tap **Add to Home Screen**.
   * Not in the list? Scroll to the very bottom, tap **Edit Actions** and add **Add to Home Screen**.
4. Leave **Open as Web App** turned on and tap **Add**.

The Pieowl icon appears on your home screen. Tap it to open the dashboard.

Android (Chrome) [#android-chrome]

1. Open **Chrome** and go to [app.pieowl.com](https://app.pieowl.com). Sign in.
2. Tap **⋮** next to the address bar.
3. Tap **Install and create shortcut**, then **Install**. In older versions of Chrome the item is called **Add to home screen**.
4. Follow the prompts on screen.

The Pieowl icon appears on your home screen.

Good to know [#good-to-know]

* If the app opens on the sign-in page, sign in once more inside the app.
* The app always shows the latest version of the dashboard. There is nothing to update.
* Remove it like any other app icon. Your sites and data stay in your account.
